A happy school is the one which can bring about a change from Literacy to Education. Rotary Club of Panvel Midtown acknowledges this and has been relentlessly working to make schools a welcome place. The club has decided to help 3 schools become happier this year. Of these Adya Krantiveer Vasideo Balwant Phadke Madhyamik School was the first to become a truly 'Happy School' under this initiative. The club undertook various initiatives for this. Notebook Distribution to the school Children and lectures on personal and menstrual hygiene were some of the projects done. The club constructed 2 toilet blocks for girls. Each block had a Sanitary Napkin Incinerator also donated by the club. A library was donated as well as Laboratory and Sports equipment. The school columns were painted with colorful graffiti to make the experience a happier one for the children.
