A complete health checkup camp which included general physical checkup, eye checkup, dental checkup, CBC/ RBC blood tests and Tetanus Vaccination, was conducted at 'Bal Sudhar Gruh, Karjat, a juvenile facility and 'Krupa Mahila Vasatigruha', a facility for mentally challenged women. This camp was conducted in association with Dr. Nair's Eye Clinic and Dr. Foram Thakkar's pathalogical lab, as well as with Rotract club of Panvel Midtown. Around 25 inmate children from the Juvenile facility and 90 women from the Krupa Vasatigruh were covered in this camp. Apart from the health checkup and vaccinations done, fruits were distributed to the children and some artificial jewellery was distributed to the women. It was a great sight to see the women happy and smiling on receiving the trinkets. Rtn Dr. Shilpa Vaishampayan led the dental team, Rtn Dr. Gajendra and Ann Dr. Nutan led the physical checkup. Rtn Shubhange Zemse was the chairperson of this project.
