Rotary Club of Panvel Midtown in association with Sahyadri Devrai and Late Govindji Kashinathji Gawand Secondary School, Khanda Colony, organized a Tree Plantation Drive at the same School. The Mayor of PMC, Dr. Kavita Choutmal and Shree Ganesh Kadu, ex-nagarsevak, were the chief guests for the event. Project Chairman Rtn Sachin Chandane addressed the children of the school and spoke about the importance of Tree Plantation and the how to take care of the Trees. He also explained the procedure of plantation. About 75 fruit and flower bearing trees of Indian origin were planted at the event. The children promised to take care of the trees.
